What is Snaffla?
Snaffla is a deal-alert tool for UK resellers. It watches the marketplaces you choose for listings that match your saved searches, compares each one's price with comparable listings, and sends you an alert when a likely under-market deal appears.
Where does the price valuation come from?
From our own data. We collect listings from the marketplaces we cover and compare a new listing's price with the median price of comparable ones. If we don't have enough comparable listings to say anything reliable, we show 'No valuation' instead of guessing.
Which marketplaces does it cover?
Snaffla currently covers eBay UK, Facebook Marketplace and Gumtree. Some plans include fewer marketplaces per search, and each plan limits how many slots can watch Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree, so check the pricing page for what your plan includes. More marketplaces, including Vinted, are coming soon.
Do I need to connect my marketplace accounts?
No. Snaffla never asks for your marketplace logins, and your accounts are never connected. You contact sellers yourself on the marketplace, exactly as you do today.
How are alerts delivered?
As push notifications on the devices where you've turned them on in Settings. Push notifications need a browser that supports them; if yours doesn't, Settings will tell you.
How much does Snaffla cost?
Plans are priced by search slots: Starter is £35/month, Pro is £99/month and Power is £149/month. There's also a £19.99 7-Day Pass if you just want to try it, with no subscription. Annual billing is ten months' worth of the monthly price, so you get two months free. The pricing page shows exactly what each plan includes.
What's a search slot?
One slot covers one keyword on one marketplace. If you watch 'iPhone 13' on eBay and Facebook Marketplace, that's 2 slots for the one search. Your plan gives you a set number of slots, and you can add more at any time if you need to watch more marketplaces or run more searches. Each plan also limits how many of those slots can watch Facebook Marketplace or Gumtree (for example 5 of Pro's 10); the rest can watch eBay, and eBay slots have no separate limit. The pricing page shows the numbers for each plan.
What happens if I use a lot of checks?
Each plan includes a monthly allowance for how often we check the marketplaces on your behalf. If you get close to it, your alerts slow down a little rather than stopping -- for example every 10 minutes instead of every 5. We never switch your alerts off completely; the allowance resets every month, and adding search slots also adds to your allowance.
